From the north - U.S. Highway 277 runs southwest through San Angelo into Del Rio. 2 1/2 hours.

From the west - Interstate 10 runs through El Paso and connects to U.S. Highway 90, which runs into Del Rio. 8 hours.

From the east - U.S. Highway 90 runs from San Antonio into Del Rio. 2 1/2 hours.

From Mexico - U.S. Highway Spur 239 begins on the U.S. side of the International Bridge and crosses into Del Rio. 10 minutes.

By train:
